Apologies to Prince
Prince, I'm sorry, but I really think I'm going to have to delete almost all your songs from my iPod. I really thought that, by listening to your Hits CD, I would get to know some songs I hadn't heard before and find some stuff I liked. I'm afraid that's not the case. Now, taking the bus to work, when my iPod shuffles me onto Pink Cashmere or I Feel for You, I just find that I get irritated. I've made myself listen to almost every song of yours that comes on but, seriously, this machine fricken loves that Pink Cashmere song; I've heard it at least five times in the last couple of weeks. I mean, I have over 500 songs on there. How can I keep hearing the same songs by you that I'm not even enjoying? It's taking away from perfectly good chances to hear Spanish for Hitchhiking, The Decemberists, The Mobius Band, Lhasa de Sela, and who knows what else! I certainly don't know because I haven't heard it. I'm sorry. I'll keep a couple songs on there, I'm sure. But the rest just have to go.
