Hi- how's it going?
So, I really thought that my January might be sort of relaxing, in comparison to the fall semester. And I guess it is, in a lot of ways, but the Hampshire Intensive Jan Term program is hard work. I teach the same group of students Spanish for two hour and forty-five minute sessions. The students are great- they're really smart and work really hard. They speak Spanish almost all the time, even though they've just started learning it. But it's a long day and a busy day. So, I haven't had much time off.
I also seem to be coming down with something. I'm trying to beat it with vitamins.

Hi Honey, I'm glad it's going well. It must be fun to have students who want to be there. I loved seeing you and Dave over Christmas week. It would have been nice to have more time. It's funny how we have gotten to a point where we have so much catching up to do that we don't get to just sort of BE - if you know what I mean. Speaking of just Being - are you getting any down time during a day or a week? It might help, in terms of not getting sick. Take it from one who keeps not learning the hard way. Spent yesterday with back spasms. I figure that's what I get from thinking maybe I didn't need a day off this week. Ha! I love you. mommy
