Settling into the free time
Yesterday, I was feeling a bit under the weather and decided to try and feel better by doing *absolutely nothing all day long* (starting by waking up at 11 AM). I think it worked, since today I felt much improved and started the day off with the 10:00 AM matinee at Pleasant Street Theater. It was Friends with Money, to which I say "eh." You can't be picky about the 10:00 AM matinee- it is what it is. They give you free coffee and popcorn, and that's much of the appeal. The nice thing was that there was no talking today, which in the past I've mentioned is a problem at this theater. Today was just fine, and the movie was followed by moshi, which also helps. John Peter and Elliott were there. Elliott enjoyed his eel avocado rolls and, especially, spilling miso soup down the front of his sweater.
Are you coming to the Winterpills show on Friday? 7 PM at the Iron Horse.
